Ok, so it's a bit weird, actually it's a lot weird, but dream me almost got some. Damn damn damn.
I'll start from the beginning, it's weird. Just warning you. There's a giant fucking squid, floating in the air, above a field, by a city. Me and four other people are sent up this squid, to see what it is. I don't remember what we found out, but I remember it was super fun to slide down the tenticles back to the ground. I do believe there was a race. XD
Anyways, my group is really good looking, there's a guy with curly dark hair and green eyes(yum) he was the explosives expert, a chick who looked Indian perhaps, with long black hair, she was a scientist, another chick who I can't remember from the army, and mr goddamn why did I have to wake up, I don't remember what he did. Who had longish brown-blonde hair with hazel eyes and a nice bod. We're all really happy that we made it and decide to go out for dinner, so we make reservations to meet at a really expensive restataunt and I went home, because it was Christmas.
It was snowing. Yes. Snowing, and there was a giant squid in the sky, but fuck it all if I wasn't going home for Christmas. So there was this whole pointless scene with my family chasing red balloons outside in the snow and something to do with my cat. No apparent reason. Then my 'Grandma' who I've never seen before in my life told us all to go inside to open presents. Which we did. Then I left to go to the restaraunt. I was all dolled up, but it didn't matter because I felt out of place. I was brand new to the anti giant floating squid crew and wasn't really comfortable going for dinner with them.
Anyways, I finally find where they are sitting, and they're already halfway through dinner, but I sit anyways. Curly hair guy who I'm going to call Jay, just because he looks like my character and acted like him too, greeted me and gave me a hug, and we joked around about squid. It was nice, but I knew he had a crush on sarcastic indian chick, who I'm calling Sahara, just because she looked like a Sahara.
So yeh, I'm sitting there chatting with everyone when the waitress comes up. She looks kind of suprised, and pissed off that I'm there and I try and ignore it the best I can, Mr why did I wake up, who I'm calling Glen, gave me a small smile and gave the waitress a 'look' before she started making me a salad, becuase the kitchen was closed. This waitress is prattling on about why I'm in the group, where I'd gone to school, how I had the money to pay for stuff. Glen cleared his throat and she shut up, but not before I got the sense that being in the group that I was must mean that I came from a very wealthy family, which I wasn't, and that she was wondering where I'd gotten all the money. She was trying to get my family name, and I just smiled and feined not realizing what she was looking for.
As I watched, almost in horror as she layered more salad stuff on my plate then I'd ever seen before, like beans, and pepper and bread and lettuce, by the time I got rid of her I had a small pile of salad condiments and no lettuce. Jay, Sahara and Glen all looked terribly amused and I smirked at them because they all new I wasn't that well off. Even if I hadn't known before that they were all rich.
Then the cuteness starts, Jay gets up and wraps his arms around Sahara from behind, before motioning to the dance floor. 'Would you like to dance?' he asks, and Sahara purses her lips, and he kneels down beside her chair and reaches out his hand, a pout slowly forming on her face. I see her hesitate and grin at Jay, "C'mon Sahara, look how cute he looks." I say grinning, and thinking that if it were me, I'd already be on the floor already. Sahara sends me a severe look and then finally nods.
Glenn whoops beside me and we watch them head out to the dance floor. Meatloaf's 'It's All Coming Back to me Now' is playing and they look really cute dancing together. I can't help but sing along under my breath, cause I love that song, and when I glance up, Jay is singing it too. Just... Badly. Sahara is giving him a weird look and then he hits a really bad note and the entire restaraunt turns around to stare at him, and I grin when Jay doesn't take the hint.
It's about this time when I glance at Glenn and he looks like he's thinking about something. Another high note to the song is coming up and to help Jay I sing a bit louder to drown out the sour note. I don't do too bad, and Glenn raises his eyebrows at me when he notices I'm singing, I just shrug and motion towards Jay. He grins at me and pats my leg before motioning towards the dance floor, opening his mouth and I...
WAKE UP! Son of a bitch, so close! I spent the rest of the morning trying to get back into the dream and nooooo, I couldn't go back to sleep. Blarg.
